Papsoe (14613), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 14, 2006 (Bottle 118 cl) Pilsener golden with a rough, white head. Sweet’n’sour aroma. Medium body with sweetish accents of chicken fodder - a.k.a. brewing syrup and brewing cereals. No real bitterness. Gee, these 40 ounce bottles are real muthafuckers.... 260306 Oakes (8057), gone rambling, Vietnam Aug 5, 2003 We’re heading up to the cottage for the August long weekend and my girlfriend decides she’s going to drink animal beer that weekend. So she buys some Kingfisher, Dogfish Head, the turtle Rescousse, Giraf Strong, Black Sheep Ale, Mongoose, Schlitz Red Bull, and Colt 45. I double checked my database and realized that I’ve never had any Colt 45. Since I was going to help her out with some of the strong stuff anyway, I decided to write notes. Light bronze colour. The aroma is slightly cidery, vaguely malty, with some higher alcohols. Drinkable – with touches of malt alongside the expected raunch of cider and fusels. Sweet, with a hot finish. Like most malt liquors, is utterly unpalatable after the first half, when it loses the palate-deadening ice cold sensation. faroeviking (6016), Republica Vikingo de las, Faroe Islands Jan 22, 2007 Bottle. Clear yellow colour with a white bubbly fairly lasting head. Sweet grainy aroma. Sweet bready flavor with grains and alcohol. Mild sweet dryish finish. Sampled more out of curiousity as I used to chug this stuff in my youth before I had discovered the delights of real beer.
Thick white head. Grainy aroma. Clear golden coloured and floral. Crisp and smooth on the palate with a slightly dry malt finish. Rastacouere (5551), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Jul 18, 2003 ridiculous 8% version. It tastes alcohol/piss. I bet the beer dreams of being disappointing at nights since it would allow people to have minimal expectations about it hopscotch (5437), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Sep 15, 2005 Can... Clear, light yellow lager with a large, fizzy, white head. Corn and black pepper aroma. The flavor is of alcohol and corn. Medium-bodied with a watery mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Finishes metallic, bitter and alcoholic. bu11zeye (5430), Frisco, Texas, USA Oct 17, 2004 (Bottle) Pours a clear golden color with a bubbly white head. Not the worst tasting malt liquor, but on the other hand, how many good malt liquors are there? Bov (5403), Bienne, Switzerland Oct 12, 2002 clear pale yellow colour, few head, malt, orange and alcohol aroma, sweet and oily with a dry alcohol finish - by far not the worst malt liquor
