This is the stuff many have grown up on, including myself. Nothing fits in a brown bag better than a colt 45. As far as taste goes, you pretty much need to drink fast cause it goes to hell in a hurry.

This is an okay malt liquor. Stay away from the clear bottles, and stick with the canned versions. Goes well with salad, steak, and potatoes. Good when ice cold.

I like this beer but I can't figure why they put it in a clear bottle. Do not leave it in sunlight for any length of time.

Sampled more out of curiousity as I used to chug this stuff in my youth before I had discovered the delights of real beer.
Thick white head. Grainy aroma. Clear golden coloured and floral. Crisp and smooth on the palate with a slightly dry malt finish.

UPDATED: JUL 29, 2008 Colt 45 is very nice for a malt liquor. It’s real strong. Light-bodied, clear, golden, and as long as it’s cold it tastes pretty good.

This beer always makes me laugh when i look at the 40 oz bottle. Its definately a gangsta beer which gives u a feeling of happpiness when you drink it. Like Afro Man Said....Colt45 and 2 zigzags baby thats all we need...

It needs to taste a lot better than this to have such a week percentage of alcohol. It is quite brutal but really cheap.

Billy Dee Williams... can’t stop thinking about him while drinking this. This is the smoothest malt liquor out there.

I drink it nightly. ’Empty calories’ - hah. That’s just bullshit. I get a strong buzz and an instant erection for my 800 calories.

I have not drank this beer in about 5 years and was surprised how good it actually was. Okay I was drinking 12 ounce bottles but thought it was a very smooth, drinkable malt liquor. Remember you don’t have to rock a 40 dog to try this beer.
