Priced well. Smells kinda funky. I can’t put my finger on it. But it don’t smell right. Pours a typical golden beer color. The flavor. It isn’t all that bad. A lot better than most malt liquors. Not as grainy. When compared, it’s actually very smooth. Easily the best tasting Malt Liquor made.

Clear golden with big white head. Aroma is sweet and corny with weird phenolics, and taste is the same. Not any worse than one would expect.

From a TWO FOUR, 24 oz. can with a coded freshness date on the bottom of can, I can hear the funk as the Billy Dee voiceover pushes the product, God, I wish I was that slick, sampled ice cold in a pint glass. Poured a clear pale yellowish golden with a large foamy white head, slowly dissipates into a fine sudsy lacing, pretty typical for a malt liquor. Aromas of sweet cereal grains, sweet corn, a tad musty and fusel alcohol. Good carbonation and a crisp, dry, thinnish, firm and smooth medium-light bodied mouthfeel. The first thing I noticed in the taste was the thin, sweet cereal grains, followed by the boiled sweet corn, a subtle hayish hops, only a soft hop bite towards the end, the alcohol is sweet and fusel, and a dry cereal grainy finish, the alcohol also helps in drying everything out. This takes me back to my late high school, early college days, when we played basketball in the city park, then went down the block to a gas station/convenience store that didn’t card to pick up big cans or 40’s of this, those were good days.

Hmmm, pretty good for your average low abv malt. Better than King Cobra and about as tasty as a pabst. I won’t buy it again any time soon but it was decent.

Gold color with small white head. This really wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Flavor was strong and malty, a little sweet.

Remember when that fat thug kid was pooring his colt 45 into the eggs he was cooking in the movie ’Juice’? Yeah, well don’t try it.

Looks and smells like the average macro. Thick consistency on the palate like syrup. A bit strong but no burning sensation on the swallow. This ain’t great but it isn’t overly horrible for a cheap malt liquor.

Just picked me up a ’two four’ on the way home from work... I was really tempted to pass it up to try something new (icehouse) but decided to revisit this classic as i had only drank it a handful of times. I remember the TV comercials for Colt 45 back in the day... some low toned brutha-man guy talkin bout how smooth it is while some dude danced with his ho in a red dress. (cannot confirm this) Damn half way through and i’m buzzin’ already. Okay so back to the review... This stuff is very sweet and for whatever reason reminds me of a bananna beer i once drank at a micro-brew haus. A kind of sweetness along the lines of Mickey’s. However unlike Mickey’s the body is more foamy than it is sparkley and i truely hope it sits well with the lingering jalepeno poppers. (blinks)
