Pours a typical golden beer color.
The flavor. It isn’t all that bad. A lot better than most malt liquors. Not as grainy. When compared, it’s actually very smooth.
Easily the best tasting Malt Liquor made.

Poured a clear pale yellowish golden with a large foamy white head, slowly dissipates into a fine sudsy lacing, pretty typical for a malt liquor.
Aromas of sweet cereal grains, sweet corn, a tad musty and fusel alcohol.
Good carbonation and a crisp, dry, thinnish, firm and smooth medium-light bodied mouthfeel.
The first thing I noticed in the taste was the thin, sweet cereal grains, followed by the boiled sweet corn, a subtle hayish hops, only a soft hop bite towards the end, the alcohol is sweet and fusel, and a dry cereal grainy finish, the alcohol also helps in drying everything out.
This takes me back to my late high school, early college days, when we played basketball in the city park, then went down the block to a gas station/convenience store that didn’t card to pick up big cans or 40’s of this, those were good days.

A bit strong but no burning sensation on the swallow. This ain’t great but it isn’t overly horrible for a cheap malt liquor. eggfooold99 (4), USA does not count | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 18, 2002 Just picked me up a ’two four’ on the way home from work... I was really tempted to pass it up to try something new (icehouse) but decided to revisit this classic as i had only drank it a handful of times. I remember the TV comercials for Colt 45 back in the day... some low toned brutha-man guy talkin bout how smooth it is while some dude danced with his ho in a red dress. (cannot confirm this) Damn half way through and i’m buzzin’ already. Okay so back to the review... This stuff is very sweet and for whatever reason reminds me of a bananna beer i once drank at a micro-brew haus. A kind of sweetness along the lines of Mickey’s. However unlike Mickey’s the body is more foamy than it is sparkley and i truely hope it sits well with the lingering jalepeno poppers. (blinks)
