Pours golden, smells sweet. Head dissipates more rapidly than the running homeless guy that just stole it. Tastes malty.

40oz (Old Notes)--Pours a clear golden with a big head. Aroma of corn and grains. Taste of the same. This medium bodied brew filled the purpose.

24oz can from Food Lion. I think I paid $1.39 for this. Golden hue with one finger thick mostly diminishing white frothy head. Good lacing. Water, corn, funk and light fruit on the nose. Major skunk up front and water with a medium malt and corn finish. Lively carbonation, watery texture on the palate. For $1.39 I caught a good buzz early in the evening, I am not sure if it tastes better in a paper bag, but it looked pretty good in my snifter.

Disgusting. Light fizzy and skunky. Pours light piss color and is not worthy of a glass.

Colt 45. If I was a broke college kid, I would drink it. Play 40 hands with it, keep ice cold, have fun!

I don’t drink this beer ’anymore’ but I didn’t want to give it a poor rating just because that seems like the apropos thing to do. I did pass a bottle of this (once) to an Illinois pal of mine who’d never had it when living in the state. He loved it. Essentially, this is good buzz juice, thin bodied, yellow colored, and cheap. The taste is passable, the body is drinkable, and the quality is laughable but it’s a great starter beer chock full of malt overtones that no longer comes in a paper bag (plastic at my local gas station). Start here, then go elsewhere.

5.6% can from Bargain Booze, Renishaw - Apparently "Any Tom, Jack or Walt, who likes the taste of malt, will love the malt in a Colt 45". I must not like malt - this is wank.

Bottle at Craig’s. Clear gold, thin white head. Light malty cereal aroma. Light sweet taste. For the rate! Cheers Benji!
