3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This reminded me a lot of the canadian 7% examples. Clear gold, small head. Heavy grape and sweet corn aroma. Plenty of cheese oddly enough, more than I care for really. Bitter, earthy hop profile. Easy going finish, touches of citrus in this one at the end.

1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
UPDATED: FEB 24, 2014 Sampled side by side with the Asahi from Asia Brewery as well. This pours a slightly darker hue of clear yellow, maybe just 1 srm difference, and with considerably less white head, which fades quicker. Nose is less metallic than the Asahi, but still full of adjuncty notes. Flavor is pretty standard. I feel like it tastes less ’corny’ than standard colt 45. There is just a fainty earthy/grassy hops, but that basically is just bitterness, and not real flavor or anything.

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
330ml can BB 20Apr2014. Poured a clear amber colour with a one- to two-finger white foamy head that diminished quickly and laced poorly. High carbonation with lots and lots of small to medium bubbles however carbonation reduces to very low levels very quickly. Aroma of sweet malt. Tastes sweet and malty (not the "Premium Roasted Malt" as printed on the can) then faintly bitter (not the "Triple Hops Brewed" as printed on the can). Light body. Smooth light and sweet. Worth a try but not again.

0.7 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
Malt liquor whale shared at the Thunderbird malt liquor celebration. It pours golden yellow with a medium white head. The nose is old fart, corn, syrupy, damp grass and metal. The taste is hot garbage, sweetcorn, hay, dull bitterness and rotten toffee apple. Light-medium body and moderate carbonation. Nasty stuff you wouldn’t wish on your worst enemy..

Very clear yellow color with nice effervescents. Smells like a weird soda pop. Sweet and yeasty and terrible. If you super drunk or poor drink em up Jones.

A weird series of events led to me drinking a 24 oz. can of "Colt 45" tonight. If all goes well, it will never happen again.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Originally rated July 2005. Sampled this one from their 710ml can. Says it is brewed by Silver Creek Brewery in La Crosse, WI. Also written is that this brew is 7% ABV. Pours a golden lager colour with a white foam head. Well carbonated and medium retention. At first, I got a nose filled with yeast, but after breathing, got the malt scent with hints of apples. The taste is a toned down version of Olde English 800. Easier to drink then OE. Corn is found in the aftertaste. Still, my favorite malt liquor is Mongoose.
