Originally rated July 2005. Sampled this one from their 710ml can. Says it is brewed by Silver Creek Brewery in La Crosse, WI. Also written is that this brew is 7% ABV. Pours a golden lager colour with a white foam head. Well carbonated and medium retention. At first, I got a nose filled with yeast, but after breathing, got the malt scent with hints of apples. The taste is a toned down version of Olde English 800. Easier to drink then OE. Corn is found in the aftertaste. Still, my favorite malt liquor is Mongoose.

710 mL can purchased from The Beer Store in Guelph, ON. Brewed by Silver Creek Brewery in La Crosse, WI, USA according to the can. All in all a pretty awful beer. Pours a straw colour with very little head that fades to nothing. Initial aroma is of sewer gas. Taste is pungent corn syrupiness. Very sweet. Not overly carbonated. I regret drinking from a glass, it would have been better to drink from the can to mask the taste. Better cheap beers out there if you want to pretend to be a hobo for the night.

Decent malt beer, this one is good with a bunch of friends. It has a strong bitterness to it and quite enjoyable

710 ml can from the LCBO. pours golden with a white head, lingers and laces. over carbonated. aroma of dusty apple core. decent sweet sugary flavour. the carbonation balances the sweetness. poundable for a malt liquor. un-terrible.

[2831-20100409] 710mL can. Wet cardboard leaves and grass aroma. Clear, deep yellow body with a quick foamy white head and small quick centralized bubbles. Skunky grass and wet leaves flavour. Medium body. Pretty awful.
Scenario: Someone gave me a Heineken for the rest of this seven-ten, they loved it so much.

Here it’s 7% strong beer in 24oz can’s and 40oz bottle’s. Taste better in Can,but do drink the 40 as well. In state’s I have had it in 32oz bottles and 24oz can’s at i think 5.6% and called malt Liquor.Strong beer version in Can taste closer to American malt liquor version. I like it more as a malt liquor then strong beer but both are good and just one any size and % and it work’s everytime!

Colt 45 is just the classiest malt liquor ever created, isn’t it? If it’s good enough for Billy Dee Williams, it’s good enough for Dr. Beardface!
