Colt 45 8 %

Finally forced myself to get a bottle. Smells like vomit, pretty revolting aroma. Not appealing at all. Clear golden colour, thin white lace. Strong alcoholic notes, honey maybe somewhere in this. Nasty, nasty taste of petrol. Weird beer. Very weird. Not nice at all. Poured it down the sink.

It was definitely the eight percent, though my memory’s foggy after actually drinking it. Very piss-poor yellow look, very sweet flavour profile, but those forty-ounce plastic bottles sure help you get wasted very quick. Yet I can’t help but think there are better ways to get very drunk very fast. This is the only reason you’d want this beverage.

24 oz can. Just what you would expect. but a little better. Aroma of grains. Sweet grainy flavor with some butter and corny finish. Could be worse. Cheap and gets the job done.

710ml can. Golden pour, noisy white head with poor retention. Sweetish aroma, corn notes, grain and cardboard. Flavour has a little berry sweetness, boozy alcohols, corny finish. Boozy aftertaste, medium carbonation and medium, sticky body.

I’m afraid that this version of Colt 45 is "too boozy" for me. I’m a purist when it comes to my malt liquors, what can I say?

Pours a light golden yellow. Aromas of minor hops, corn, grains. Flavor is light, crisp, watery with a little hop and not much else.

Ginormous 1.18L clear bottle, bought as a joke while camping this weekend. Abysmal aroma of alcohol and sweet-rot stench. Sweet corn with a harsh petroleum-esque element and a hot isopropyl alcoholic burn to put the palate to death. Do not leave the bottle near the fire-- it may explode.
