2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Can at Dahlia’s Pour House. Drank it straight out of the can, so I can only imagine that its pale yellow with a massive white head. The nose is musty, cereal, sugar, light sulphur and sweet pale malt. The taste is pretty sweet, buttered popcorn, light dough, sharp alcohol kick and crunchy nut cornflakes. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Definitely better than expected. Smells nasty, but tastes kinda ok. You get a nice buzz from it anyways.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
I see that the esteemed PorterPounder has beaten me to this gem by several years. Consumed from the Etch-proof Snifter of Courvoisier Alternatives. Tall boy can, which I can envision crumpled at the feet of Bad, Bad Leroy Brown. Clear, specimen gold with an enormous white head. Powdery lager aroma - plain and inoffensive though corny. Surprisingly smooth, low bittering, very slightly sweet, almost flavorless. Medium-light body, slightly tangy finish. ABV is well-masked, and the warming effect is subtle. This may edge King Cobra out as my favorite low-brow malt likka. Picked this baby up from the Circle K on the truck route.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
16 oz. can shared by b3shine. Pours a clear yellow color with a medium sized white head. The aroma was moderately sweet corn, grainy, chemical notes, generally not very inviting. The flavor was much of the same; grainy, sweet, corn, grass and some chemical notes. It is what it is.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Can shared by b3shine. Poured clear pale color with a medium frothy white head that mostly lastd with fair lacing. Light grainy malt and small alcohol aroma. Light to medium body with a thin texture and soft carbonation. Light to moderate sweet flavor with a light grain sweet finish of short duration. Cold wet alcohol with little character.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
16oz can, BIG thanks to b3shine for sharing this. Clear yellow orange color. Minimal white head. Not bad-looking, even for a standard lager. Big corn, bready taste. Big unpleasant bite in the taste, plus sweetness. Bigger body. Soft carbonation. More dry finish. Light citrus in here. Yeah. Could be worse, I guess.

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
16 oz can to pint. Time to go swinswillin. Visually, this slop wasn’t offensive; a transparent orange with fluffy white head that dissipates into lacing. Then things take a turn for the worse. The scent is one of cheap, doughy nastiness, with the taste being identical. Bad on the palate too. This should only be sold in Iowa.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
This is really interesting stuff for as much as I’ve had it before I got into better stuff, here goes:
It pours a clear golden color leaving more a hazy body. There is no head and barely any lacing. What lacing there is is somewhat spotty. The smell is all about the malts, hops don’t exist in this, as there is no such thing as balance, I guess in this style, oh well, I didn’t make it. The taste is once again, malts, sugary and sweet, no balance again whatsoever. The palate is raw and harsh on the tongue, at about a light to medium. Overall, yeah, I wouldn’t come back to this, boy oh boy, not sure who really drinks this stuff, but whoever does, all yours as I won’t come back to this.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
8.5% ABV 24oz can pours clear gold slick malt liquorness supporting a thin effervescent off white head. The aroma offers up some odd earthy notes, stale cereal, chemical booze and apple juice. The taste goes from sugary apple juice to chemical booze infused cereal notes to thin rings of nail polish remover. This is straight up malt liquor in all its glory, git sum.
