COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
For an extra kick, get some Colt 45 Hight Gravity. It has a higher alcohol percentage than traditional colt 45, so make sure you can handle yours.

Drink this fast drink this cold. It’s a great brew when you only have $0.42 to your name, it’s cold, your stuck waiting outside for a train for 45 min., and the only thing that might make life more barable is a quick buzz. To get the most bang for your buck I suggest using a knife or key to puncture the bottom side of the can. Place mouth over hole, pop top. If done properly in 10 sec. you will have, and empty can, and ice cream head ache, and a cheap buzz

8/6/11. Oh God. Giant 24oz can thanks to PorterPounder... I guess... slammed straight from the can like a real man. The hair on my chest doubled. Horrid aroma of rotten hay aroma with old green apples and a load of fusel alcohol. The flavor is... oh my... a disturbing combination of sweet caramels, burnt hay, rocket fuel, and... and... dog? I don’t know, but it’s bad... ugh.

made sure i froze it an extra 20 min after refrigeration, drink fast and cold. 16 oz can that was dirt cheap. Pours a bit deeper gold, though still crystal clear than a regular colt 45, the head is again bright white and foamy, it sticks a bit longer than the average malt liquor and leaves tom okay lacing, which is odd because it is higher alcohol than the regular, thank god for additives. The smell is better here than normal colt, even more of the corn smell is gone, it has a fruitiness to it, slight adjunct feel, dare i say even a hint of yeasty smell. When cold it tastes alright, bread, caramel, apple cider, hint of walnut, more corn than a regular colt imo though. More gravity inevitably means more corn unfortunately. The colt 45 beers are probably the best adjunct lagers, but then again, only if your in a pinch would i recommend this. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 08-03-2010 04:45:31

Tall boy. Pours pale gold and very carbonated. Malty, corn, bitter. One of the worst beers I’ve ever had.

UPDATED: JUN 25, 2011 How about this for a big 24 oz blast, Colts highest ABV. Big white head pour with little visible CO2 in this pale brw. Strong and rude, much more so than any previous colt. Nasty almost gag reflex nellie. Volatile to the olfactory, dzzy halfway thru, wew. Quite sterile.

Bought at TERRIBLE HERBST gas station on Russell road, Las Vegas! A bad beer, but drinkable ice cold, otherwise a corn ridden crappy beer, but drinkable ice cold, reminds me of some cheap Russian/Dutch forte lagers! lol....

Picked up a 24 ounce can of Colt 45 High Gravity @ Carool’s Liquor Store in Camden, NJ for a $1.34. Drank half iced cold out of the can and the other half poured into a short glass. High Octane Malt Liquor, one trick pony as an alcohol delivery system. Wet rag aroma, however, presentable golden bodied beer. By far the cheapest buzz for me in 2010. If I lived on fifty bucks a week this would be my beer of choice.

Can: Served ice cold in a snifter. Pours a lovely golden hue with a puffy white head that diminishes rather thoughtfully. The nose is sweet and savory with a full bouquet of aluminum roses, apple ’shine and dried autumn corn cobs. The flavor is lively and inviting with a sharp resistance towards balance and a subtle hint of cherry headache medicine. The finish is complex and deceiving. A seductive little number with a unique personality.
