1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Tall boy from Dawg. Pours light yellow with an inch of white foam. A bit of corn oil on the nose. An oiliness on the tongue. Not much taste beyond the metallic corn thing. Very watery. Not much alcohol on the tongue which is a little scary. People drink this only to get drunk quickly and cheaply.

16 oz can to pint. Time to go swinswillin. Visually, this slop wasnít offensive; a transparent orange with fluffy white head that dissipates into lacing. Then things take a turn for the worse. The scent is one of cheap, doughy nastiness, with the taste being identical. Bad on the palate too. This should only be sold in Iowa.

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
24 oz bottle. Tasted as a part of an 18 beer Malt Liquor blind tasting. Pours a clear pale gold body with a small wispy white head. Big corn and cooked celery nose with just a little alcohol. The flavor is overly sweet with lots of corn and cooked celery. The mouthfeel is a little flat and bland, even for a beer of this quality.

1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Canned from a local QT. The body is dark gold. The nose has some strange fruity apples and potatoes. There is also a little bit of corn. The taste is sweet and fruity with blueberries. There is also some bread crust along with a little bit of beets. This is not bad for what it is, but really sweet and not in a corny way. Strange.

8/6/11. Oh God. Giant 24oz can thanks to PorterPounder... I guess... slammed straight from the can like a real man. The hair on my chest doubled. Horrid aroma of rotten hay aroma with old green apples and a load of fusel alcohol. The flavor is... oh my... a disturbing combination of sweet caramels, burnt hay, rocket fuel, and... and... dog? I donít know, but itís bad... ugh.

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
UPDATED: JUN 25, 2011 How about this for a big 24 oz blast, Colts highest ABV. Big white head pour with little visible CO2 in this pale brw. Strong and rude, much more so than any previous colt. Nasty almost gag reflex nellie. Volatile to the olfactory, dzzy halfway thru, wew. Quite sterile.

Tall boy from DiarmaidBHK - well it doesnít suck as much as normal colt 45, but thatís not really saying much. Itís aroma and taste are less offensive and a milder watery corn oil experience. Overall, blah.

"beer #1 in recent ghetto "tasting": tall can. didnít bother pouring these, so Iíll rate the appreance in the can pretty much along the lines of the rest of the beer...which ainít good. Honestly, Iíve had fouler, but this was skunky, and strong at that, which is both good and bad. Harder to get the skunky corn down at 8% when it warms, but at least you get a buzz."

Tall boy. Pours pale gold and very carbonated. Malty, corn, bitter. One of the worst beers Iíve ever had.
