On tap at the brewpub. A: Cloudy orange, frail white head. N: Grapefruit, pine, pineapple, earth, biscuit, and more citrus. T: Sweet, then citrusy and bitter. Good balance here. M: Resinous, heavier body. Alcohol is not present. Creamy carbonation as is the case on draft at the brewpub. O: Decent DIPA. There’s nothing here to really make it stand out in a very crowded field, but it is one of their best beers.

From a bottle. The pour is a hazy dark orange with no head. A malty mango ipa with a minimal tang aftertaste.

Tap at MArciero. Dry, hoppy nose, grass and hay. Very grassy, leafy hop flavor, menthol and caramel. Dry and some minerals. Decent but not great.

Keg at the brew tap, 11/11/14. Lightly hazed golden amber with a moderate off white swirl and edgeing. Nose is juicy hops, orange squash, grapefruit, pine, juicy tropical fruit notes. Taste comprises earthy hops, bitter orange, pine, grapefruit, chalky mineral wash. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, hop bitterness well represented in the close. Decent enough DIPA.

Piney and fruity hop perfume. Fairly aggressively bitter with a little sweetness to temper it. Not quite a standout in a crowded field, but pretty damn nice."

Bottle(22oz): Pretty clear golden color. Average Head. In fact overall it seems pretty average. Some bitterness in the end. Not a favorite.

Bomber. Hazy dark golden amber pour with a sudsy layer of off-white head. Aroma is a mix of pine resin, earthy hops and orange peel with a bit of malt sweetness around the edges. Taste starts with a strong serving of grapefruit, pine and leafy hops bitterness along with some lemon and caramel malt toward the end. Medium-bodied with average carbonation and more citrus and dank bitterness in the finish. Needs a little more balance to make it stand out from the pack.

Clear amber color with ivory head. Pine, floral, mild spicy hop aromas. Medium body with average carbonation. Nice floral, pine hoppy flavors with a light pale malt sweetness___drying bitter finish----good.

Bottle:   Dirty orange, a bit cloudy, moderate frothy off-white head, spotty lacing.   Candied citrus peel nose, caramel malts, seems fairly sweet.   Slightly dank too.   Resiny, not as malty as I hoped.   A touch astringent.   Good dose of hops, wished it had more malts to back it up.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Not alcoholic, but its warming.   Lingering pith, resin, and a touch of earthy malts.   Tiz okay, a little rough at times, smells sweet, but comes across as more hoppy.   Not out of balance, but the nose suggested a bit more malt sweetness.   otherwise ok.
