3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Had this at the Brewpub as my appetizer. Nose of citrus & pine. Light apricot tones are present also. Light sparkling golden amber. The thin white frothy head is quickly diminishing with light lacing. The brew starts spicy with a heavy acidic middle and a toasty apricot finish. The medium creamy and lively body feels slightly cloying at the finish. A very good fruit beer.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 12/20
An unusual fruit beer. Sits very pale without a head. Kinda like M.J. Aroma is very pleasant. Apricots and plums come out in both the aroma and taste. Mildly sweet with light body. The problem is no carbonation to speak of. Leaves a sour finish.

pours golden with a white head. aroma is kind of skunky which is weird. flavor is not what i ecpected at all. I can't taset any apricots. kind of hoppy. reminds me of a run of the mill amber.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Golden yellow body with a thin white head. No lacing.
Smells like apricots.
Apricot and malt (pils?) mixes nicely together. Sweet and slightly bitter finish. Nice lingering apricot finish.
Medium bodied but not a session beer.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Nice fresh fruit nose (apricot, obviously) and a refreshing first gulp quickly relaxed my fears of it resembling some of the gross lambics from a previous festival (banana was THE WORST!). This was not offensive at all, a bit too sweet for me, but a neat treat to fill a "mix your own six pack" with.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
margarine yellow, brassy as a new trombone, head shows obligatory white top, neither slacking off nor doing back-flips to impress. light fruity sweetness of caramel is enhanced with some apricot-- no rocket science here. i use ’apricot’ as a discriptor fairly often to articulate various dark fruity malt aromas, so, in theory, it’s not a bad fruit to use deliberately as an agent of flavoring. good carbonation, sweetness and bitterness all crowd on the front seat and don’t bicker. the echo of hops was pleasant, as was my surprise with this modest, quenching beer.

3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Decent fruit beer. Apricot is subtle in the taste but prevails in the nose. Smooth, golden ale.

Lightly sweet - I love apricot, and a nice change from the typical raspberry beers. The first sip ended with an odd hop kick and I said "uh-oh, there’s gonna be trouble", but after that it balanced out o.k. This could be a nice Sunday brunch beer!
