Retorp (2155), Tampa, Florida, USA Aug 28, 2005 Courtesy of Ohiodad. Sweet:::drumroll:: apricot aroma. Actually a very aromatic beer and it smells good. Large fluffy white head on a cloudy tea colored body. Ok it is thin, but very refreshing and the fruit element knows its place. Apricot, cereal grains and malt are there together. Very crisp finish that tastes more like the apricot skin than the flesh. This is a very well done Fruit Beer. I’d say it is highly underrated. brentfeesh (937), Gadsden, Alabama, USA Jun 9, 2008 An 8 year boycott ends. Served in a pint at the CBC. Golden pour with plentiful carbonation. Great aroma! Lots of very noticeable apricot. A light apricot flavor that is slightly sweet with touches of grain. There is no way this is real apricot, but the essence that they use really works well. Medium semi-dry body and mouth feel. Wet finish. Good brew. DragonStout (1185), Orlando, Florida, USA Sep 12, 2008 On tap at the brewpub.Wow th enose on this was wonderful!Lots of fresh apricots here with a slight hint of sweetness.Pours a golden color with a small white head. This was quite refreshing.Lots of freshness of apricots that wasn’t overpowering. It was crisp and sweet with a slight hoppy finish. DocLock (4170), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA May 19, 2006 Thanks to Ohio Dad for this. The pour was hazy dark copper with 2-finger white head. Nice big apricot aroma, with some perfumy florals, berries, caramel malt. This aroma is outstanding. The flavor was fruity, with a lot of natural apricot flavor, plus a good amount of peaches, some caramel malt, and subdued finishing hops. Medium palate. Well done. MilkmanDan (1938), Eagan, Minnesota, USA Feb 22, 2005 Amber. Impressive head, thick and creamy, decent staying power. Nose fruity and bitter, flavor similarly so. Very authentically apricot. Tart and bitter stuff. Very toasty at the end, decently balanced. Not bad.
