On draught at Gallo’s. The beer is a clear copper-orange color with a very thin white head that diminishes to nearly nothing quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Fruity nose with notes of bready malt. Medium body with a fruity character and flavors of malt along with light yeast and pepper. The finish is fruity with a lingering yeast aftertaste. Straightforward and decent Saison overall.

On tap at Gallo’s. Copper/amber pour with a thin white head. Fruity nose with vanilla and yeast. Creamy and somewhat sweet vanilla flavor with a fruity finish. I didn’t mind this one, so it must not be a true saison.

On tap at Brews Cafe, Granville. Sweet aroma of oranges and banannas. Flavor was thin and weak up front though, followed by an overpowering pepper taste on the back. Drinkable, but a bit chaotic for me. Needs to blend a bit better I think.

Draft at the brewpub. Thick, cloudy orange-gold color. Sweet, yeasty aroma. The taste is equally yeasty, with an earthy freshness. Creamy, with a solid alcohol backbone. Some orange tang in the yeast. Pretty good.
