4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Growler thanks to Brian. Pours a cloudy orange with thick creamy off white head that lasts. The aroma is tropical fruit hop, hemp, pine. Medium mouthfeel with juicy hop, nice lingering bitter finish. Very solid.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
32oz growler in a teku. Pours hazy golden with a lacy, white head. Aroma of strong citrusy and fruity and floral and resinous hops and some pale and light caramel malts to balance the hops. Flavor dominated by the strong fruity and citrusy hops. Average texture. An incredible double IPA.

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
On tap at Columbus Brewing Company. Itís a very hazy pale color, almost as pale as a Hoegaarden. Creamy white head with good lacing. Aromas of grapefruit, malt and floral hops. Thereís a flavor explosion of pine and bitter citrus, but itís not over the top. Sweet malt, but not too sweet. Slight herbal tones and then a dry finish. Creamy mouthfeel with a clean finish. Delicious. This is one of the best IPAs Iíve ever had.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Clear yellow golden pour with a thin white head and light sticky lacing ... Aroma of citrusy rindy orange and grapefruit very intense with tropical fruit qualities as well great nose on this beer... Taste is of resiny, orange rinds, grapefruity hops, lightly herbal hops with a nice oily mouthfeel and a malty backbone with a honey like qualities and a bitter hop bite ... Has a nice oily bitter hop bite in the finish with a lingering herbal rindy hop ... Definitely a quality dbl IPA and worth the hype

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: OCT 7, 2014 Damn good, as always. Shared by Josh Brewer @ OU inn. Thanks bruh. Smells super bitter, astringent, piney, earthy. Dank. Looks clear yellow, with a little disc of foam on top. tastes dense with goodass balance between sweetness and bitterness. Almost a tartness to it, but it all works very well. Mouthfeel is thinnish with a slickness to it, too. very drinkable, but perhaps a little insubstantial on the palate. tasty stuff! Glad to get to actually sit down and rate this one!

from a fresh growler. Great upfront aroma. Huge hop taste. Very light on the malt build. Citrus. Fantastic. Very drinkable and almost perfect double without that cloying malt.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Poured into my growler from a tap at Ale Wine & Spirits in Powell Ohio and onto to a pint glass at home a nice lemon color with a thick white head.
Aroma is lemon resin pine. Little to no sweetness.
Flavor is pine trees in the best way. Love the blend of hops used with some citrus & a finish nicely bitter yet delicately sweet.
Balanced & beautiful. Had this on tap

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
On tap at the magic tree. A sweeter perfumy aroma that lacks the typical IPA smells. Darker than a pale lager, more orange in color. Taste is laced with hardtack candy. Yes, lots of sweetness in the taste, quite odd for a double IPA and makes me wonder if its the right brew but the bartender says it is. Certainly not rude or cloying or syrupy and it does not coat the mouth. As far as iipa status goes, it is a little rude and bitter but it does not get in yer face. Just a slightly hoppy sweet ipa. Never goes into IIPA territory. Quite surprised. If this is a IIPA, its one of the more civilized Iíve ever had.
