Sampled on draft at Vintage Estate this beer poured a hazy golden color with a large foamy yellow-white head that left good lacing. The aroma was sweet, tangy, piney and had a catbox note. The flavor was sweet and tangy pine and catbox. Very long finish. Moderately full bodied. Alcohol well controlled. Another beer ruined with awful hops. Meh.

Turboninja (452) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 13, 2016
Tap@WinterWarmer’16, Cleveland, USA. Medium bit bitter, simple aroma with overaged fruits. Light yellow color with small white head and clear liquid. Medium bold taste with overaged fruits, honey, some citrus and malts. Medium taste spectrum and long hoppy citrus aftertaste. Medium body with medium carbonation. Overall, interesting DIPA, highly refreshing and bold at the same time. Still, or because, a bit simple though.

32 oz growler. Thin, crisp, golden color. Great aroma, floral, citrus, resin, etc. Tastes really good. Not the best taste from an IPA i’ve ever had, but a mouthfeel and finish that’s as good as any. Makes it really easy to just keep drinking this stuff. One of the best that is still under the radar.

Growler... Pours clear and golden with a small, fleeting, white head. The aroma features onion and muskiness - like a woman’s armpit after running a 5K. Full-bodied with modest carbonation. Fairly heavy, rindy bitterness coats my tongue and won’t let go. I’m left with a bittersweet aftertaste of citrus rind and English biscuit. Growler courtesy of ctipping!

Golden with a thick coarse head. Very nice hop aroma. Pine, orange, mango. Dry and refreshing. Very nice.

ticked at the source. AH the Bodhi. hmmmm.... This is very subpar. Tons of bitterness, grass and some pine. Lots of sweetness, this is a Stone 2008 IPA.

Well, I wanted something special for #500. Thank you, Fedex! You were able to lose my box with a 32 oz growler of this and beat the shit out of it so bad that it leaked quite a bit and arrived flat! F you for screwing up a one day shipment to me from where the sender is located. Anyway.............. 32 oz growler that arrived with about 24 oz of liquid in it. Poured a clear golden orange and bright. Aroma was some faint citrus, pine, soap. Flavor followed the nose, soapy, lemon, light onion, bit of pine. Medium body and thin texture. Flat carbonation. Bitter and soapy to finish. Really wish I had gotten to try this in perfect condition, but what can you do?

Top notch DIPA, on the more traditional side than the new age citrus and pineapple bombs. A bit of onionyness, nice bitter, sweetnees in the back. Really good stuff.

Pours a clear gold with a medium white head. Aroma has a good bit of orange and tangerine. Flavor takes on a bit more grapefruity bitterness. Mouthfeel is light and the finish is dry and rindy/resinous bitter.
