Tried at the columbus brewing restaurant. Holy hop! Has a great smoothly hoppy taste that really stays with you. Came highly recommended, and I highly recommend it to you. Drink.it.

The beer is a bright yellow gold color. Good clarity. Medium white head. Good retention. Mild caramel. Pretty big malt sugariness. Pineapple, grapes, orange hops. Fairly juicy. A little danker pine underneath. Taste has a lot of hoppiness. More malt flavor than I’m used to, at least for the wave of newer IPAs. Medium bitterness. Medium body. Finishes fairly dry.

Poured from a growler. Aroma is very hop forward with some nice grapefruit and orange citrus notes. Moderate tropical fruit with mango and pineapple. Light melon and stone fruit. Light malt notes with a hint of caramel. Light resin. Pours a brilliantly clear, golden orange with a small moderately thick, white head that recedes to the edges where it lingers. Medium lacing and small legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with some cracker and biscuit as well as faint caramel. High bitterness but not harsh. Moderate grapefruit and orange with some lighter tropical fruit. Even lighter stone fruit notes. A hint of the alcohol in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a very nice IPA with a lot of hop character. Nice bitterness and not too sweet and malty. Pretty nice.

This poured a lighter orange color with a white head. Aroma was of lots of dank and resinous hops, light tropical and grapefruity character too. Flavor was similar, fruity, earthy, dry, and hid the alcohol well. Nice.

Growler, from a grocery store in Columbus, thanks to my brother, who does not understand my hobby, but supports my alcoholism. Darker golden yellow. Aroma is straight hops. Pine and grapefruit heavy. Taste has good bit of bitterness and finishes with an even stronger bitter bite. An all out hop assault, yet somehow incredibly drinkable. I always feel like an ass comparing one beer to another, but this really reminds me of heady topper.
