on tap at brews, pours copper with a nice off white head, leaves good lacing. aroma is sweet caramel and tons of bourbon. Taste is caramel malt a lot of sweet notes from the barrel, so sweet, but a good hop bitterness comes throught to even it all out. good stuff.

Sample at the Big Tap In after-party at Vintage Estates on 04/21/2012. This beer is a murky ruddy brownish-amber color with a thin light beige head that dissipates quickly. Short stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of bourbon, dark malt and butterscotch. Full-bodied with a boozy bourbon character and notes of caramel malt, toffee and hops. The finish is oaky bourbon and butterscotch. Good beer all around.
