On draught at the brewpub. The beer is a dark brown color with a reddish tint around the edges. Medium thin beige head that diminishes steadily, and patch lacing. Aroma of roasted nuts and hops. Medium body with a moderately hoppy character that has notes of roasted malt and nuts behind it. The finish is chocolate malt with a hoppy aftertaste. Above average overall.

Pint at CBC. Dark brown pour with a thin beige head. Citrusy hop aroma of orange and grapefruit with a bit of pine and roast. Flavor is maple and caramel up front with some citrusy and spicy hops joining in the finish.
