Our IPA pours a slightly hazy, pale orange with a balanced malt flavor and finishes with a wonderful flavor and aroma only American hops can provide. This beer is served unfiltered to retain all the bouquet from the hops.

UPDATED: JAN 22, 2012 Bottle from a trade. Pours a hazy gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has some notes of light citrus and pine with some grapefruit and a hint of resin and sweet grains. Flavor begins with light fruit and citrus but becomes resinous with pine in the finish. Bottle shared by Dan, thanks! Poured a hazy gold with a white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma had notes of strong pine, some dankness with a bit of a backing sweet grain note. Flavor started similarly to the nose with a strong dank pine note with some resin but the flavor kind of dies off in to a weaker finish that left a bit to be desired.

Note: I got this beer on tap during Brew Week in Athens, Ohio.

This guy pours a hazy orange with a thin white head. With the orange color comes a citrus and hop aroma. It is medium bitter on taste and finish. Has a flat heavy feel on the palate. One of the more enjoyable IPAs I’ve had.

look: 4 smell: 4.5 taste: 4.5 feel: 4.5 overall: 4.5 A-Pours a hazy orange amber color with a nice 1 finger head S- Floral hops hit the nose right away followed by some citrus notes and sweetness. Smells very crisp and clean. T- WOW the explosion of citrus and hops and sweetness balance so well. This beer is delightful M-Medium to light bodied. Great Carbonation. Very crisp and refreshing D-Overall i was flored by this beer. It has a boring label and boring name so wasn’t exspecting anything from it. but this is prob. my favorite IPA right now. IT just has Great flavors that don’t mask the hops but also the hops don’t take over the great flavors they put in this beer. GIve this beer a try!

Bottle. Orangey pour with a nice white head. Aroma of fresh, sticky, piney american hops. Standard and discreet malt profile. Flavor is bitter, some honey notes in it though, fresh hop bite. Not as dry and bitter as some of the great american IPAs in my experience, but a nice refreshing one nonetheless.

Enjoyed from a 12oz bottle in an English pint glass. The beer pours a medium amber color, with a slight haze. The nose shows noticeable, if somewhat less than super-aggressive hop aromas; citrus, wood, very slight pine. The palate shows a smooth bitterness up front, an underlying malt backbone in the mid-palate, and a fairly crisp, fairly dry, fairly bitter finish. Overall, perhaps note quite in the league of the best examples, but certainly well-made and executed.

Bottle shared by Paul at RBSG. Hazy orange with a small white head. Nose to toasty malt, butter, light citrus. Flavor is sweet, buttery, some pine and citrus. Meh.

Excellent IPA. Good citrus/pine aroma with a dry, light body. Very pleasant and a nice surprise from Columbus. Thanks to ineedbeer (reddit) for the bottle.

A great citrus lead, dry-finishing IPA. Thanks to popery for getting to try it fresh. I would be very happy for this to be my local IPA.

12oz bottle pours a hazy, copper orange with a thin, lacing white head. Nice aroma, hop pellets, C hops, orange, lemon zest, grapefruit, pine, flowers, a little honey, a little apple, a little resinous. Flavor is well balanced, citrus without being overly bitter, orange, pine, honey, flower pollen, a little wet earth, a little grapefruit. Full bodied, sweet, bitter finish. Extremely well balanced with a great nose.

This poured a light orange color with an off white head. Aroma was nice medium citrusy hops, some straw and grass too. Flavor was a decent amount of light juicy citrus hops and light biscuty malt to give it balance. Decent version of the style.
