Pours a dark amber color with a decent head that fizzled away after a few minutes. Smells of sweet malt, fruit and Flowery hops. Nice bitter hop bite, I can dig this beer. Full of hops and sweet malt, but mostly hops. If your not a fan of hops you wonít like this. For me the more bitter the better. GO BUCKS! BEAT MICHIGAN!

Good version of a classic american pale ale. Lots of citrus, mango and predominantly pine from the hops with a decent dry bitter lingering taste. Not too exciting but well done.

Bottled on 062216. Nose classic Cascade grapefruit and lighter orange peel, fresh with hints of dank and wood. Pour is lightly hazy deep orange with slightly above-average carbonation and a large rocky off-white head, tight lace. Taste bone dry and strongly resinous, lets the strong bitterness shine through. Not tart at all, lightly woody, touch of deep toffee and much more earth, but no lighter caramel -- itís a good match. Could use a little more of a spicy aspect in the absence of juicier grapefruit, but the straight-laced dryness makes it super repeatable. Clean, smooth body a shade lighter than full. A classic of the style in line alongside the floral Sierra Nevada. [2016.08.09: 3.7]

Bottle. Pours hazy copper with a huge fluffy white head that dissipates to a quarter-inch head. Substantial cling. Aromas of citrus, pine and floral hops. Flavors of bitter citrus, cut grass, floral hops, pine needles, and biscuit. Crisp, dry finish. Creamy, but clean mouthfeel. A competent, well-made pale ale. Very nice.

Hazy amber beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is airy, mildly dry and has good fine carbonation. Smooth malts, nice light creamy sweetness. Hops are spicy orange, orange peel, mild pine and a nice mellow touch of mango. Light finish. Clean and super drinkable but lacks the wonderful hop intensity of itís IPA and DIPA siblings.

Bottle shared at Aaronís. Musty and dry with some hop appeal. But overall not as much as I would expect.

Initial taste is very sweet with citrus and grapefruit. Finishes with a bitter flavor then a slight stale taste.

On tap at Columbus brewing company restaurant in Columbus Ohio. Cbcís pale ale is a honey amber brew with a firm head of white foam. Nose is faint pine and floral hints. Taste is a delicate framework of hops over a decent medium malt structure. Body is lightly lively. A very nice apa.

Tasted from draft. Pours a copper color with white head. Aroma is pine and floral notes. Taste is a nice clean bitterness throughout with malt backbone. Moderate bitterness with mild to moderate sweetness. Pine, floral and caramel flavors. Medium bodied. Above average pale ale. Great beer for watching the columbus clippers. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
