12 oz bottle. Pours a light golden yellow with a thick head of white foam. Nose is light citrus hops. Taste is rather dry with hints of citrus and floral hops. Very light but medium textured body with good carbonation. Finishing lightly bitter. A good traditional keller/kolsch type beer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Appearance: Pours a translucent golden amber like that of the movie Jurassic Park! The crown is billowy, light beige, and about 2 fingers thick. Retention is strong and lace is everywhere.
Smell: floral hops and wet grass hallertau style hops combined with a pleasant citrus note that is not quite as bright as an orange but on the sweet acidic side....can’t place it.
Taste: Now I’m getting that note I couldn’t identify in the nose...bitter under ripe grapefruit. like licking the white skin on a peeled citrus fruit. Other than that the beer is pretty tasty!
Mouthfeel: Excellent carbonation, fairly crisp, but with a creamy crown! Body is a touch thick but still in the medium range.
Drinkability: Sessionable if it wasn’t for the taste.

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Sample at CBC. Clear yellow pour with a medium white head. Malty nose, but something is off. I originally described it as toilet water, but it’s actually more like pool water. Very chlorine heavy. Flavor is creamy and butter with some grassy hop for balance. Flavor isn’t too bad for a summer session beer, but the nose definitely needs some work.

Bottle… Hazy, straw-colored ale with a small, fizzy, white head. The bouquet is of pale malt, stale white bread and lemon peel. Full-bodied with laid-back carbonation. The flavor is of biscuit malt and earthy hops. Mojave-dry finish. Thanks to DragonStout for the bottle!

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle from BeerVirgin72 - thanks, Dawn! I found this a very refreshing brew, almost a more clean and spicy version of the yeasty, sedimental Kellerbier I’m more familiar with. Maybe a cross with a pils if that makes any sense. Hazy pale gold, nice carbonation, medium mouthfeel. Nothing world-beating about this beer, but I enjoyed it.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A pleasant enough lager, smoky taste of crisp bittering hops, just enough body for a summer beer that doesn’t go all the way to lawnmowerland. They say it’s unfiltered, but you could read the newspaper through the bottle I poured... a difference between bottle and tap, perhaps?
