frankenkitty (1789), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA Jul 16, 2007 Served a golden/amber with mild carbonation and a head that is but a film. Aroma of German nobles over light malts. Low diacetyl in flavor over honey & herbs. Light bitterness to finish. Mid-bodied, but it leaves an unwanted coating over the mouth. It’s O.K... but you can pass.

OhioDad (2492), Hilliard, Ohio, USA Jun 14, 2007 Pint at the brewpub poured bright amber with a very short offwhite head. Aromas of caramel, and biscuit mostly. Flavor is very much the same. Slight caramel, a touch of toffee, and lots of biscuit. Slight hops on the finish but not much. Seemed quite overcarbonated to me as well. Fizzy mouthfeel. Not one of CBC’s best edden (886), cow- lumbus, Ohio, USA Jun 10, 2007 6/9/07: Sample at Columbus Ale Fest ’07. Golden yellow body. Light malt nose. Small wheat flavor with a slightly sour finish.
