Jul 16, 2007 Served a golden/amber with mild carbonation and a head that is but a film. Aroma of German nobles over light malts. Low diacetyl in flavor over honey & herbs. Light bitterness to finish. Mid-bodied, but it leaves an unwanted coating over the mouth. It’s O.K... but you can pass.

Jun 14, 2007 Pint at the brewpub poured bright amber with a very short offwhite head. Aromas of caramel, and biscuit mostly. Flavor is very much the same. Slight caramel, a touch of toffee, and lots of biscuit. Slight hops on the finish but not much. Seemed quite overcarbonated to me as well. Fizzy mouthfeel. Not one of CBC’s best
