ultraspank (856), Dublin, Ohio, USA Jul 16, 2004 Had this on tap a few weeks ago at the Cap City Diner in Cowlumbus. Pours a light golden with a thin white tap head that was mostly diminishing and had fair lacing. The nose is very subtle with a hint of wheat. The refreshing flavor is light with a moderate citrus acidity and a heavy toasted finish. The light and creamy body is very lively with a nice biting and crisp finish. Aurelius (2507), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Jun 30, 2004 Very light fresh water and light citrus aroma. Medium-light gold. A bit tangy, with building hops. Medium body. Clean, crisp finish with a final hop zing. Good CO2. Fair enough summer beer. Dogbrick (2260), Columbus, Ohio, USA Mar 2, 2004 On draught at the CBC. Pours a golden color with some bubbles. Medium white head that slowly disappeared and quick lacing. The aroma is fairly hopped with a touch of sweetness. Light-bodied and effervescent with a nicely bitter character from start to finish. Light malt backbone as well. Not really a complex beer in any sense but it is a nicely light and drinkable brew.
