May 10, 2008 Pours a transparent copper amber with a stringy-lacing off-white head. Aroma of sweet caramel malt and cinnamon sugar. Body starts with lots of lemon citrusy acidity and some holiday spice and pine before a thinner, fizzy finish. The tartness seems out of place, but might otherwise be a decent spice beer.

Jan 25, 2008 12oz bottle acquired in trade with ogglethorp (thanks!). Poured a medium and hazy amber color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of stronger cinnamon, ginger (that got stronger as it warmed), caramel, and other spices. Tastes of cinnamon, ginger, berries, nuts, citrus, and caramel.

Jan 30, 2006 Draft at brewpub. Poured a deep amber with an average creamy white head that lasted and produced good lacing. Moderate sweet spicy aroma. Medium body. Medium sweet spicy malt flavor with an average finish. Good drinkable winter brew.

Jan 24, 2008 Thanks to hopdog. Pours a lightly hazy amber with golden notes wiht a smaller bubbly off white head. Aroma of caramel, malty sweetness, ginger, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, sugar cookies...nice aroma that reminds me of the Holidays. Flavor of ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, caramel, nuts, hoppy citrus notes, some toffee and doughy notes.
