3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Thank you Colin and Kendra as always for my fresh Garrison supply! I love the creativity and productivity of this brewery! Hazy dark orange with a thick foamy white head - looks great. Strong aroma - grassy yet fruity - very strong hop aroma. Taste is decent - full medium foamy body, strong fruity hops taste, really strong bitter finish that has some grapefruit just at the end. Before that the hops are more earthy and that blends well with the malt. An interesting one off - I am not sure I care for this hop on its own, but Garrison has done a pretty nice job with it. Thanks again for the one-off folks.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
341ml bottle. Rather large eggshell head on a hazy brown/amber pour Big biscuity malt up front of the aroma, with some grapefruit/floral hops on the finish. Tast eis more biscuit malt and a dirty grapefruit hops bitterness. Overall, reasonably balanced, but nothing extra special.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: APR 10, 2013 Copper colour with a thin white head and quickly dissapating lace. Syrup hop aroma. Oily texture. Typical Garrison characteristics. Very similar to the Hop yard brew, with more sweet syrup notes. Bitter flavour with a nasty metallic finish.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
341ml bottle. Pours a very slightly hazy amber/orange with a tan head that has yellow leanings. Little head retention. Smells of marmalade, some citrus but it’s really muted, a lot of lowbrow grain. Butterscotch. Not much of an IPA nose at all. Same on the palate, decent bitterness but it’s gone quickly. Medium-full. Fairly sweet. That butterscotch edge is still there. Another swing and a miss.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Slight haze, slightly laced, pale orange/amber colour. Fresh hops, fruity and floral with caramel or butterscotch and a hint of soap box. Not very big IPA aroma. Flavours are bitter leafy hops with a sweetness in the mid palate.
