500ml bottle. Clear dark golden colour with small quickly fading macropore white head. Sweet caramel malt aroma. Insipid flabby malt taste. Negligently closed bottle?

Bottle, thanks to Quack-Duck. Hazy brownish orange with a thick and frothy head. Aroma is decidedly bready malty, light sweetish with some grassy hops, basement aromas, floral elements, apple mousse and yeast. Bready-malty, sweetish taste with a basement-apple-metallic-floral finish. Moderately strong bitterness. Good but nothing groundbreaking.

Bottle 500ml. @ home.

Clear medium amber yellow colour with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, light caramel, dough notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, hay, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120327]

Bottle from Quack-Duck, thanks! Amber color, hazy. Malt, hints of caramel and licorice in the aroma. Medium to full bodied. Malty and bready. Traces of butter. Grassy hops shimmering through. Licorice. Lovely beer, as close as you can get to a real zoigl.

Bottled, thanks Bierkrug! Hazy deep golden, firm creamy head. Really fruity with doughy malt. Slight spicy, grassy hpos and a hint of minerals. Soft and mid sweet with medium body and balanced bitterness. While it may be heretic with a bottled, contract brewed zoiglm, it is still a lovely beer.
