This Amber ale was designed and brewed in collaboration with the Niagara Association of Homebrewers, The Sultans of Swig, Junkshow and Community Beer Works. Super clean and hopped with Amarillo and Citra this beer debuted at the 2013 Amber Waves of Grain homebrew banquet.

Admittedly, I helped brew this beer along with a few other home brewers, and of course, community beer works. Bias aside, it’s a tasty treat- slight citric and malt aromatics up front, malt dominated palate with biscuit, toast and caramel balanced nicely against semi-assertive though not overwhelming fruity hop character- very enjoyable drinker that i could and would have many pints of- in fact, I did when this beer debuted at the local AWOG homebrew competition- thanks CBW for letting us come in and play brewer for a day.

2013-04-20. Crisp dark amber body with a small beige head. Flavour is pleasant, lightly fruity and vaguely cidery, mild malty core, very light bitterness. 6++ Mild aroma, fruity, light caramel accents. 6++ Smooth average bodied palate. Just okay. On tap at Coles, Buffalo
