COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Hopped Up Collaboration from the Community Tap and Thomas Creek Brewery

This dark horse collaboration gone golden is a rather full bodied American IPA brewed with an abundance of Citra hops with a refreshing, yet potent nose of citrus and a smooth drinkability with notes of grapefruit and a pleasant sweetness.

Hopmaestro (1167) - Örebro, SWEDEN - DEC 3, 2015
Tap @ ÖÖWF2015: Aroma is citrus and slightly herbal. Great hop profile in the taste where the malt is allowed to play a bit. Citrus and fresh cut grass. Good balance in the malt vs the hops and a solid IPA.

Sample at SBWF 2015. Hoppy smell with citrus. Similar taste. Nice hoppy aroma and the malt backbone is just enough to lift the hops.

Really unique take on the style. Raisin, sap. Subtle pine. Super earthly. It tastes like how hiking in the mountains smells. If that makes any sense. Very fresh. Maybe subconsciously I know this beer has water that tastes like Greenville water and the nostalgia factor kicked in. Solid beer.m

Draft at the Community Tap. Yellow/orange pour with a white head. Grapefruit hop aromas. Big grapefruit hop presence. A bit unbalanced with an undersized malt backbone. Average body and mouthfeel.

12 ounce bottle from Bruisin Ales. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a thin foamy off-white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of tropical, citrus hops and mild caramel malt. The taste is bitter tropical, floral, citrus hops, a bit of pine, and caramel malt. Medium bodied, well balanced.

chinchill (3993) - South Carolina, USA - JAN 15, 2015
Pint from the tap at the Handlebar (Greenville SC: from notes) Pours a clear dark amber with a off-white head that has poor retention. Glass is nicely coated on the way down The aroma is dominated by piney and herbal hops with citrus overtones. The taste is similar, with a powerful but not over the top hoppy flavor. The malt base is mainly evident by implication, as this beer is not too bitter and the flavor has a good depth and richness. M: medium body; well chosen carbonation. O: a fine but powerful IPA, with a level of hops nearly up to an imperial IPA.
