Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Smells fruity and spicy. Taste is bready, white fruits, and hints of spice. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and mild mouth-carbonation, Community Trinity Tripel finishes with a soft fruitiness.

Dogbrick (8107) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUN 8, 2014
Hazy yellow-gold color with a medium white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of yeast, malt and fruit. Medium to full body with flavors of peppery yeast, citrus and toasted malt. The finish is fruity with an herbal yeast aftertaste. Above average overall.

swanmann (602) - Norman, Oklahoma, USA - FEB 23, 2014
Bright golden yellow, hazy, with bright white sustained foam, leaving lace. I smell fruit of some sort, lemon, apricot, spice, funk... The flavors, black pepper bite up front, with an almost oak-y, wood note. Thereís just a bit of fruity sweetness, like orange or apricot, some earthy funk. The immediate flavor for me is a spicy bite, unlike a conventional trippel. The carb is moderate, providing a creamy mouthfeel,Medium mouthfeel but holds up well. It finishes with fruit and pepper. Man, itís atypical, not a bad thing. I can appreciate it. Itís got the yeasty, sweet characteristics, and the appearance of standard trippel, but itís not an imitation of the style. Itís something just a bit different.

Appearance: cloudy gold color, pours with a huge beige head that is very dense and takes a while to pour down Aroma: fruity, strong orange citrus, a bit simple but pretty strong aromas, maybe some yeast Taste: strong alcohol, grain, a bit of bitterness on the finish, coriander Palate: average carbonation, moderate mouthfeel, leaves mouth a little dry, orange and alcohol aftertaste Overall: this beer lacks the complexity I was expecting, decent but there are better beers out there in this style ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

5000 (6300) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - FEB 9, 2014
Bottle:   Hazy straw, orangish, a bit dark, moderate frothy white head, little lacing.   Bright fruity nose, bready but heavy, sweet but not cloying.   On the tongue its tropical, fruity, sweet, a bit bready, but not over the top.   Great balance.   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   A little powdery sweetness on the finish.   This one is certainly American, but it is not cloying or overly sweet.   Good example of a Tripel that has an American flair to it.   Better than most examples.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate to full.   This is good stuff!   Thanks Bill!

BigHoss (172) - Fort Worth, Texas, USA - NOV 24, 2013
The color is golden light brown and medium cream color head that disparates fast. I smell honey, banana, thick rich yeast, and some lemon. I taste grapefruit, pear, yeast, malt and a little pepper. Complex and finishes like medium IPA. Excell ale.....

brystmar (1256) - Dallas, Texas, USA - OCT 31, 2013
Spicy yeast & pepper, sweet malt, green apple, lightly funky aroma. Tastes like a Tripel (but with the spices in check). Peppercorn is unmistakeable midway through, melds with malt sweetness before finishing dry. Solid; good balance.
