Cask @ Victory Summer Fest. Fine aroma of malt, caramel and nutty too, cloudy brown, trace of tan head. Flavour is roast malt, treacle, nutty and woody. Light bodied, well balanced, tasty. Very good offering.

[2847-20100424] Tap. Sweet grainy honey-like yeast aroma. Clear, gold amber body with a quick foamy off-white head. Slightly bitter grains flavour is a little sweet. Light-medium body. Good enough.

2010-04-24. Crisp dark amber body, small off white head. 3+ Mild aroma, caramel malt is lightly grainy. 6+ Flavour is pleasantly bitter throughout with a bit of hops, mild caramel malt notes. Average palate suits the beer. Quaffable but mild. Needs a bit more hop character for my tastes. On tap at Victory Cafe, Toronto

At Victory cask fest. Surprisingly, it is an ESB with a black colour. Little cask bubbles in around the rum. Sweet aroma, like chocolate malts to bring out the colour. Orange juice, and subordinated bitterness.
