Bottle l picked up from Jacks, Westholme Stores, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon consumed 20.08.11 at family party, near Pontadarwe, Wales Pours golden with a white head. Starts with some hoppiness coming through, a bit of vanilla, soft in the mouth, ok it could do with a bigger hoppy kick but its not bad at all. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest ’12. Gold with white head. Quite a light fruity beer with a pleasing citrus note above a pleasant malty body. Lasting and quite dry on the palate, refreshing and enjoyable. Decent.

On cask at shepherds crook, Crowell. Pale gold with a small head. Quite a pleasant pale golden ale. Hoppy and the style of beer is one of those to try and convert the lager drinker ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask (handpump) at Egham Beer Festival on 20 August 2011. A clean, dry golden ale. Decent condition. Light flowery aroma. Some citrus. Firm mouthfeel. Citrus persists into the aftertaste. Considering this apparently uses only UK hops (Challenger) they have teased out a decent zesty, zingy character. My favourite of the Complete Pig beers.

[Bottle from brewer’s own stand at the Chilterns Festival of Food, Great Missenden] Deep gold, lightly sparkling, moderate white head. Light and refreshing with hints of citrus. Completely unmemorable, but not unpleasant, and would undoubteedly make a good summer thirstquencher.
