COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Deep ruby in colour, this delicious full-bodied beer is our premium best bitter. It has a highly enjoyable, rich, nutty flavour and caramel aroma. A beer of character and distinction.

UPDATED: AUG 15, 2011 Purchased from Westholme Stores (Jacks) Had this bottle at home Sunday 14th August 2011 Pours amber with just a few stray bubbles, good clarity. Didn’t really know what to expect and have to confess wasn’t expecting to be blown away by this, however its ok. Fruity with a light nuttiness and toffee on nose, these flavours are the principal components in the mouth, tiny bit flat, mid bitterness. Ok. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0

Cask (gravity dispense) at Egham Beer Festival on 18 August 2011. Amber colour. Slight haze. No head to speak of. Sweetish with lots of fruit, some nutty elements and a low hop presence. Rather flat mouthfeel. OK if you like this type of beer but it’s not really my scene at all.
