Marko (3933) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - FEB 25, 2011
Draught at the brewpub. Poured a clear golden body with a thick chalky white head that went away slowly. Herbal-vegetabley, slightly acidic, slightly malty nose. Light grainy nose, dry hop finish. Not much better than the Stella I’d had 10 minutes before it. Eh.

VEry nice, perfect welcome for me in BElgium. As soon as I arrived to Brussels I moved to Leuven. Very refreshing and not annoying in the throat. Nice head and aromatic features.

I had several of these after finishing rating the selcetion for the day, very nice and highly drinkable, very warmly recommended if you’re in Leuven!

Tap. Average foamy white head over a clear golden body. Aroma taste of hoppy herbal/floral elements, bread with a herbal bitterness. Low carbonation, medium bodied with lasting finish. A nice pilsner.

Tap at Domus. Slightly hazy golden color, large white head, good lacing. Aroma of malt, licorice, black pepper. Taste is bitter hops, especially in the finish. Decent example of the style.

BigMomma (223) - Leuven, BELGIUM - APR 24, 2010
50cl from tap
Hazy yellow to golden color with a large white head that leaves some lacing.
Aroma is malty and hoppy. The taste is much more powerfull then the aroma with lots of malts, bitter hops and a dry hoppy aftertaste. Very robust flavors.
A perfect example of a good Pilsener.

Plat biertje met een erg lichtgeel kleurtje, wat zurig maar met niet onfair van smaak. Hoppig zonder wrang te zijn.
