this is an unfiltered lager. It's fresh at first with a very nice hoppie bitterness to finish with. So far the best belgium lager i've ever had.

Draught at the brewpub, on September 22, 2010 Clear pale golden color, big nice white lasting head. Fresh, herbal, spicy, fruity, hoppy, some yeast, very refreshing nice taste! Long lasting herbal fresh a bit bitter aftertaste. Fresh, sweet, herbal scnt. Medium yet smooth to the full side mouthfeel. Moderateherbal bitterness that lingers. I had several of these after finishing rating the selcetion for the day, very nice and highly drinkable, very warmly recommended if you’re in Leuven!

UPDATED: SEP 4, 2010 Unfiltered pils, draught at the Pub. Fruity, hoppy nose. Clean with a good malt character. Cereals and grains evident. Great hops, giving a very bitter, long-lasting finish. Clean and decent for a Belgian pils.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 rauchbier (3205) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - APR 8, 2004
Tap, ZBF 2004. Hazy gold, low cream coloured head and moderate spritzy condition. Low malt and some trace hop in the nose with a distant tobacco note. Much more interesting in the mouth with a good honeyed malt and pleasant hoppines. Long lingering finish with nice level of hop bitterness countered by sweet yeast.

Hazy golden coloured with a beautiful white head.
Bittersweet balance. Light to medium body. Refreshing beer on a sunny day.

UPDATED: MAY 30, 2010 Tap@Brewpub, May 10, 3.5: Refreshing. Almost like a saison. Citrus lemon juice flavour without the sourness. Tap@Brewpub, 2.9, Nov 03: Hoppy aroma. pale yellow color, white head, good lace. Rather bitter pils, citrus, light. Not a pilsener for starting beerdrinkers I guess.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Travlr (5383) - Washington, Washington DC, USA - JUN 24, 2010
Tap at Domus. Slightly hazy golden color, large white head, good lacing. Aroma of malt, licorice, black pepper. Taste is bitter hops, especially in the finish. Decent example of the style.
