Cask@Twicckenham Beer festival. Sulfuric, eggy nose. Some slight undeveloped malt characters also noticed in the aroma. Palate feels empty, and theres not much happening to be honest, some citrus in the finish, slight bitterness. Boring and a bit below average for me.

[cask at SIBA GNBF’11, Manchester] Dark amber beer with a decent white head from the sparkled festival pour. Fruity citrus nose, touch of sweet caramel in there on the aroma as well. Hops in evidence from the start of the taste, leading up to a dry finish. Really enjoyed this one – the other reviewers below must have been unlucky [28102011]

Cask at the Great British Beer Festival Day 2, August 2009. Amber colour. Not particularly hoppy. Some diacetyl notes in the aroma too. Also some caramel. Not really what I expected. This was I beer I had wanted to try for a while but I wasn’t too impressed to be honest. Condition may not have been the best.

Clear medium amber color with a small to average, fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, fruity, moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. [20090805]

Golden with a small white head. Aroma of grainy malt and toffee. Sweet malty toffee flavour

Cask at Dunfermline beer festival about 2006 ... golden ... slight sour hop ... rought unpleasent hop ... Its one ii wan to try again

Cask@GBBF2009. Amber colour, small head. Aroma is wooden, bready, doughy and also has some slight fruity notes. Flavour is quite much the same. Big bready notes.

Cask@GBBF 2009. Amber color, small white head. Fruity aroma: caramcola, watermelon. Very cidery flavor. Some alcohol, grassy hoppy and then sweet apple. Short finish. Alcoholic feeling here despite of 4.5%, like a light version of European strong lagers.

Cask at GBBF 09. Hazy amber with a small, creamy head. Nice fruity and grassy hoppiness, blending in the mouth with soft caramel. Earthy notes throughout. An amicable Yorkshireman.

Cask Handpump at the Victory Hall Mens Club, Mobberley 30/07/2005 Golden amber coloured and hoppy with floral aromas. Some bitterness and dryness in a fruity malt finish.
