Oct 19, 2006 Cask/gravity at The St Albans Beer Festival 28 Sep 06. Dark brown - almost black coloured. A tiny lasting creamy head. Sweet fruity aroma. Caramellish flavour. Sweet finish. Some bitterness little by little. A bit watery.

Oct 19, 2006 Dark colour with a brownish tint. Missing head. Poor in aroma, but some dried fruit can be detected. Prunes and plums in a bit winelike flavour. Very dry finish (The 11th St Albans Beer Festival, 28.09.2006).

Sep 30, 2006 Cask conditioned, gravity dispense at St Albans BF ’06. Dark red, thin head. Aroma is dark & fruity. Tastes rather restrained & muffled; granular sugary malt & fruit. Tanora comes to mind. Interesting- didn’t realise it was a mild.
