Apr 19, 2004 Medium brown with reddish hues that produced a small off-white head and some lace. The aroma hints of toffee, nuts, wildflowers, sundued fruits (current and plums), smoke, and dusty yeast esters. Smoky and malty tastes upfront with some sweet nutty sublime tones. Coffee and bitter finish, the smoky character lingers. Quaffable, no bad qualities but nothing too bold either.
