I didn’t know this was concrete cow who I rate highly but I ended up drinking 3 pints. Lovely creamy black stout with good head. Not overly roasted or flavoured with only limited aroma but well balanced interesting beer that was very enjoyable MP

Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest ’11. Dark brown with tan head. Certainly vanilla in the aroma, which carrries through into the beer, getting stronger all the time. There is a heavy sweetness, quite cloying, vanilla ice cream notes, too much for me.

Cask, gravity, at Luton Beer Festival ’11. Very dark brown with a small off white head. Dusty cocoa aroma. Sweet roast malt taste with vanilla, perhaps a bit too powerful. Mid bitter finish. Quite agreeable.

Cask Conditioned handpump Malt Shovel Northampton. A black beer with a bubblly off-white head. Good roasty malts in the nose with a hint of vanilla. Biger stronger vanilla in the mouth but with good roasty malts again. Tasty and satisfying.
