Dec 13, 2008 Bomber from Country Club Liquors. Hazy yellow with a huge pale yellow glass-lacing head. Nose of wheat, lemons, spices, and light fruit. Very spicy and lemony. Flavor of corriander, pepperiness, light hop bitterness, yeast, and a slight banana note. Would be a great session lager.

Nov 30, 2008 Pours a hazy yellow with a sizeable, frothy white head. Aroma of spice, cloves and coriander, and lemon rind. Taste is a bit complex: spicy cloves and allspice along with a vegetal pepper and malt. FInish is bitter and not very appealing.

Nov 27, 2008 Bottle from an unknown liquor shop in National City. Pours with a fizzy short lived head and liquid is a hazed glowing yellow. The nose was mild with a scent of German styled yeast but it was to subtle to pin point smells in my memory bank. The carbonation was vicious and wild yet the flavor seemed flat with only a minor background of spicy German influenced yeast.

Nov 27, 2008 Fizzy, frothy yellow beer with thick, billowy, poofy cream head. Full of upward carbonation. Aroma of light ginger ale and spice. Gentle flavor of grains of paradise and ginger. Lively, sprightly body. An enjoyable, prickly, lively, spiced lager. Nicely done.

Nov 20, 2008 Updated: Feb 13, 2009Bottle. Pours golden yellow with a white head. Malty aroma with spicy notes. The flavor is a muddled mess of herbs and spices. I keep on focusing on black licorice. It really isn’t a bad beer but I don’t exactly love black licorice.

Poured a hazy yellow color with an above average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate lemon citrus and spice aroma. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Medium sweet&sour flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration.
I would recommend this refreshing beer to a friend.

Oct 28, 2008 Pours a five finger white head that fades quickly to a ring, leaving traces of lace. Murky light amber color. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Slight orange peel nose. Flavor is honey and spicy with the hops muted. $4.99 for a 22oz bottle from Manchester Wine and Liquors Manchester, CT.
