Aroma is lightly of pale malts and faint spice. Flavor matches - there is also a faint yeast note, and the spice comes across as a subtle dusting of coriander and white pepper. My mind kept trying to add an orange note to the flavor to make it more like a wit, but I’m not sure if I was tasting that or if it was a trick of recognition. Overall, enjoyable and rather unique. Sort of like a landbier and a wit meet in a phone booth. argo0 (6891), Washington DC, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 8, 2008 (22oz bottle) Hazy straw body topped by large white head. Aroma is medium sweet, clove, some coriander, pine needles. Taste is medium sweet, coriander, clove, some pepper, light orange. Finishes with ginger. Soft, light medium body. A very unusual lager -- kind of a cross between a saison and a wit. Beer2000 (1785), Kristiansand, Norway
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 8, 2008 650 ml bottle. Slightly hazy, golden body with a creamy white head. Aroma is fruity, yeasty, spicy and a bit weird. Flavor also starts a bit weird. Fruity, spicy, coriander and something undefined. Feels a bit artificial without necessary be that. Like a freaky, funky Saison? Tastes actually a lot better after a few classes, when I starts to be familiar with the weirdness. None of the flowers are particular strong, but more like sneaking around with your senses. jjuf1853 (471), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 6, 2008 Bottle pours a cloudy, pale yellow color with a foamy white head. Orange zest and coriander aroma with a faint hint of malt. Flavor is mostly ginger with a few other subtle spices. Interesting, but too much ginger in the flavor for my taste. | 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Aug 5, 2008 Pours a hazy amber with a nice rocky head. Smells of lemon, coriander, crisp malt. Tastes dry with a nice coriander/citrus undertone. Finishes dry and semi sweet. A wonderful beer! Oakes (8080), gone rambling, Vietnam
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 5, 2008 Well, it looks like what it is - a lager, with straw colour, and a witbiery haze. Orange, coriander nose with lemon zest and bready pale malts. Very lemon/lime zest flavour. Tangy. Pithy bitterness, probably too much. Some orangey hop notes, doughy pale malts. Interesting brew, but for me some balance issues with too much of the wrong kind of bitterness, overly harsh spicing, and weak malts that couldn’t hope to back it all up. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 5, 2008 22oz bottle from Casa de Oro Liquor. Hazy yellow with a big and fizzy white head. Nose of spice, bananas, carbonated lemonade and citrus. Flavor was lightly spiced with a very refreshing and crisp finish. I really liked this brew. mmmbeer (746), Austin, Texas, USA

Hits the mouth with a light body, malt is very weak, has a rosemary note on the end. Odd one.
