2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at Global Brew. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a thin white head that produces some lace. Not much aroma. I don’t mean this in a negative way, but the best way to describe the taste is this. It’s like a standard American macro beer that has been mixed with unsweetened lemon juice. It’s kind of bland and inoffensive with a noticable lemon citrus sourness which becomes a little rough on the back of the throat after a while. Meh.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottled, no date I could find which may be an issue. I have had the bottle in cool dark storage for about two months.
Poured hazy golden color, quite a bit of frothy head that dissipated quickly to next to nothing. Aroma didn’t give me anything. No spices, maybe a little beer like smell, but nothing much. Taste was similarly disappointing. Little hints of spice, but muddled and not able to identify. Somewhere mid sip, I get a strange flavor that reminds me of potpourri or almost like a lip balm...waxy, vaguely fruity. Very odd. Not highly carbonated, slight tingle. Slight bitter after taste.
Not quite sure what to make of this. Reminds me of a witte but not getting the coriander and citrusy hops. Middle of the road is best I can do on this bottle, might try again to confirm the findings, but pretty unimpressed. At best an average plain lager from this particular pour.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Aroma: fruity, spicy, hint of fennel,
Appearance: almost transparent golden color, minimal head
Taste: licorice initially and in the aftertaste, could be a bitter and spicy hop
Palate: dry aftertaste, bit of creaminess on the tongue
Overall: weird spice in this one. I don't think I particularly care for it but I might need another one to be sure
