Cloudy orangey yellow with chunks, decent white head. Light fruity, spiced malt aroma. Spiced lager malty taste, some citrus. Dry, musty finish. Interesting, but one is enough. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)

"Worst beer I’ve ever tasted," one of my drinking partners said. Anise is no good in anything, much less beer. Tastes like the spray they use to sanitize the shoes in a bowling alley. It’s lagery but sour, astringent with a slight citrus. Too much spice but no beer taste.

The spices in this one is a little bit too dominant for me to truly appreciate, looked ok in the glass, golden body with short head, spice on the nose and in the taste, noticeable cinnamon, aniseed and ginger.

Why coney island is from sanfran only makes sense tome. It’s a fruity nonsensical beer. Not bad anyway at all. It’s just fruit loops of beer. Fruity and good (especially after a few)but not organic goodness for your body that you’ll respect in the morning .

Poured from a bottle into a pilsner glass. Color was light gold, somewhat hazy. Minimal head that dissipated rather quickly. Minimal lacing. Film - Full of flavors in the nose. Wheat malts. Also sweet citrus malts, mainly lemon. Initial taste was grassy, buttery hops. Quickly dropped off to a citrus somewhat bitter finish. Lots of flavors, but it doesn’t work. Light body. Thin texture. Average carbonation. Abrupt finish. Somewhat refreshing. It didn’t really impress me, but the bottle sure was cool looking.

Pours amber with a quickly fading head. Seems skunked, very grassy. Once that fades citrus becomes noticeable along with doughy wheat and ginger. Pretty soft. The ginger is really noticeable as a flavour, threatening to overwhelm everything else. There also seems to be some cinnamon as well as faint citrus. Carbonation is way to high. Too much ginger!

Amber in color, thick white head. Nice malt aroma and interesting spices. This has some good malt qualities with the added spices make for flavors I am not used to. Interesting beer to drink. Not sure about this brew.

650ml bottle. Big fluffy white head atop a clear and bright amber beer. Lots of spices in the aroma, cinnamon, cloves and aniseed. The flavour is clean crisp and refeshing in the mouth with an earthy aftertaste. Great label.

12oz bottle. Pours a hazy dark gold with a big rocky white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is sweet citrusy malts, floral spices, and ginger. Smells a bit like soapy household cleaning supplies.

The flavor is more of the same - sweet malts, floral spices and a lot of spicy ginger. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with sharp carbonation.

Overall, tastes like a soapy ginger wit. Interesting but not too appealing to me.
