Jun 2, 2009 Subpar effort full of spices, (barbecue curry type tasting) that don’t belong here. Not a horrible summer session, but there are three more seasons. Sorry Olde Saratoga, this one’s a miss for me. 2009 22 oz.

May 31, 2009 Bottle pourMurky yellow with a good white head.Sweet and spicey smell,the fruits are overpowered by ginger and nutmeg with some cloves along with some orange and lemon.Flavor is about the same but a little more balanced.A banana flavor also come through with the spices as well as the orange and lemon and some pepper.Very easy to drink,has a nice lingering sweet aftertaste.Good beer.

May 24, 2009 I guess it is the spices that push this out of the Witbier category. Poured a cloudy gold with a big nose of citrus hops, yeast, and coriander. Lively mouthfeel. Flavor is very spicy, with citrus, white pepper, clove, and wheat. The warmer it got the better it tasted, and finished very pleasant.

May 20, 2009 Pours a hazy golden color with a white head. Aroma is of spices, slight citrus hops and some yeast. Flavor is ginger, and some other spices, with some wheat and citrus hops. Overall a pretty interesting brew.

May 15, 2009 22oz. Bottle: Aroma of mint, funky yeast, menthol, fresh rubber, and slight white pepper. Poured yellow in color with a small white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Cloudy. Sparkling. Full of tiny particles throughout. Flavor is sweet and gross. Tastes of yeast, mint, menthol, and corn. Medium body. Lightly sticky texture. Average carbonation. Minty corn finish. TERRIBLE. Drain pour.

May 11, 2009 Pours orange. If someone didn’t show me the bottle I would have thought it was a wheat. Was interesting to taste spices in a lager for a pleasant change. Would drink again. Very cool bottle too.

May 11, 2009 Bottle. Looks marvelous! Dark yellow, almost orange. Steady carbonation and a good fluffy head. Weird spice aroma took me by surprise. Smells like nutmeg or hard spice and the flavour is even stronger. The dark spice is hard to take at first in what looks like a wheat beer. A bit chalky. A you get into there is more lemon and banana to mix with the spice. Kind of like a pepper lemon-banana creamsicle. Unique in a missed the target kind of way.

May 8, 2009 Cloudy yellow. Aroma is milky, wheaty and soapy. Flavors are lemon, a little mint and wheat, with a fairly thick mouthfeel.
