Bottle from Crown #19.
Poured a hazy yellow color with an above average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate lemon citrus and spice aroma. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Medium sweet&sour flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration.
I would recommend this refreshing beer to a friend.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 hopscotch (8212) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - JUL 1, 2008
Bottle... Hazy yellow lager with a small, frothy, white head. The nose presents winter and spring spices... cinnamon, nutmeg and lavender; also a healthy measure of cereal grains and biscuit malt. Full-bodied with spritzy carbonation. Fruity, sweet, spicy and lightly acidic. Finishes spicy-sweet and tangy. An odd bird, but not altogether bad. Why brew it? I have no idea, but creativity rocks!

This was definitely an odd one. Mixed spices in the nose, mint, graoefruit, straw. Taste was bitter spices. Hmmmmm...

Very cloudy yellow beer with a thick white head. Lots of suspended sediment. Aroma is light and lemony with a very interesting combination of spices. Cinnamon, clove, coriander and ginger in a soft bready malt base. Sort of like a combination of winter ale and Belgian wit. Yeast is pretty clean letting the spices come through. As it warms the ginger really picks up. Completely unique brew.

Bomber poured a hazy gold with a small lasting white head. Aromas of citrus, spice, cookie and light yeast. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of bread, lemon zest and spice with a smooth citrus finish.

Tap at papagos. Cloudy yellow. Aroma of Ginger, lemongrass and kaffir lime. Flavor is odd. Lots if Ginger and lemongrass. Not enjoyable.

A Mes rate: bottle at the ever brilliant Chris O’s Pre GBBF Extravaganza. My god. Sorry guys but I thought this was really bad. Lemon yellow with a thin white head. Stale vegetables and farrrrrr too spicy. I really can’t drink this without pulling a face. Very medcinal in the finish. Dumped.

Pours a hazy yellow golden with a thin, wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of fresh ground coriander, orange zest and some white pepper. Body starts effervescent and lightly sweet and pretty heavily spiced with some bitterness from the spices near the finish. Pretty decent pseudo-witbier/spiced ale.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 DocLock (6774) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 22, 2008
This is a decent wit, and I enjoy both the name and the label right off the bat. The pour is hazy golden with 2-finger white head. Nose is orange zest, white pepper, hops, pale malt. Flavor is orange zesty, limey, with white pepper, hops, and pale malt. Very smooth and quaffable from beginning to end.
