22oz bomber, no date from LilBeerDoctor, thank you Margaret! Slightly hazy yellow golden with a one and a half finger white head, fair retention. Spicy ginger and anise aroma up front with some spicy and sweet coriander and grain in the backend. Interesting, to say the least. Flavor adds some more earthy anise, though the ginger is dominant. The coriander hovers in the background more than it did in the aroma. The finish is semi-dry with bitterness peaking around a 2. That said, the overall flavor was a little muted compared to what the aroma was--which isn’t to say that the aroma was huge, either. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Not too bad, and an interesting beer.

Bottle for memorial day cookout. Pours yellow with nose of yeast, citrus, and spic. Tastes of vanilla, grapefruit, coriander, pepper, orange peel, and yeast. Refreshing for our super hot rooftop bbq

Pint glass from bottle. A: carrot and cinnamon with slight ginger. App: medium golden with a 2 finger creamy, white head with nice lacing. T: pine, apricot, honey, lavender, lemon grass, and slight anise (licorice). P: low bubbles, but smooth and medium linger of slight ginger. Not my taste preference, but for the style, is very, very well done.

Yellow, clear not much head. Hops and spices are at the front of the taste. Unique, but it’ll probably take a few more before I can learn to appreciate this one.

750mL bottle room temperature into a pint glass Sweet and sour apple like aroma similar to a cider. Clear golden colour with a small head that completely disappears after a minute. Sweet beginning with a bitter yeasty finish. Nice carbonation and mouthfeel.

This was definitely an odd one. Mixed spices in the nose, mint, graoefruit, straw. Taste was bitter spices. Hmmmmm...

Aroma is a mix of bread and spices, with a hard to describe aspect of the spices in there. The flavor is spices and a malty background. I’ll probably have to update this rating because after one bottle I know its good but don’t know how to describe this.

22oz bottle in a lager glass. Pours golden with a thick, off-white head. Aroma of pale and caramel malts, some light spices, especially mint, and some floral hops. Flavor about the same, with the spices being too much for this light beer. A nice try, but it didn’t work well.

The beer pours a hazy golden-orange color with a white head. The aroma is very heavy on the coriander with some orange and wheat notes thrown in. I also get some mint notes, but I am not sure where they are coming from. The flavor is pretty much what you expect in a Belgian White. I get some coriander and wheat, as well as some very light fruit and floral notes. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Poured from bottle in glass light straw color with llarge head. Aroma of alspice and lemon. Taste of cloves with a bitternees.
