Oct 31, 2008 Bomber thanks to John. Pours...well you know, a blood red color with a medium pink head. The aroma is caramel, malts and light hops. The flavor is mostly dominated by a rich caramel malt with some balance between the sweetness achieved by a large bitter hop presence. A nice example of the style.

Oct 30, 2008 Creepy blood red color with a pink head. malty sweet fest spicy aroma. Medium body. Dull malty grainy flavor, with little spice. has a mildly bitter finish.
Crappy green beer for St. Pats, why not acrappy red beer for Halloween ?

Oct 30, 2008 poured froma 22oz bottle at first I was like what the hell is this This beer definitely wins on appearance for the name, pours a blood red with a thin white head. Starts to go downhill after that. Aroma is almost non existent, just some bread dough and hint of fruit. Taste is malty and fruit tart. Didn’t really wime over.

Oct 29, 2008 Draught. Pours a brilliant, clear, cranberry red with a pinkish linen white head that quickly disappeared. This is probably the reddest beer I have ever seen. Mild aroma of malt. The flavor is weak malt with some astringent hops. There is also an accompanying off-taste that I cannot identify. I didn’t like this one all that much and have no interest in re-visiting it.

Oct 28, 2008 This is God-Awful!!! Cotton candy-like head with a raspberry colored body. Subtle aroma of malt...flavor is semi-sweet. Perhaps one could pull a bready-yeasty quality out of this but that is about it. AVOID!!!

Oct 25, 2008 Surprise! This beer pours raspberry red, with a pinkish head. Aroma has hints of pretzels, and yeast/dough. Taste is malty, with hints of fruit and spice. The finish is long, and slightly bitter. Not a fan of the red color, and once you get past the label on the bottle, the beer overall is pretty unremarkable.

Oct 24, 2008 (22oz bottle) Large salmon-colored head atop hazy pink-red body. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel/bread, light nut, toffee. Taste is medium sweet, nut, some caramel, earthy, light bread. Light-medium body, light acidity. I found the appearance off-putting, but clearly it was intentional, so to each his own.

Oct 23, 2008 Pours like a kriek’s deep cherry juice color with a pink head. Memorable and freakish! Smells really mild, unexpected especially considering the way it looks. Slightly bready with some walnut. Soft, slick mouthfeel. Thick but not chewy. Well-balanced and mild flavors but punchy finish. Drinkable, clean.
