Malty caramel aroma with hints of yeast. Sweet malt flavor up front gives way to bitter hops all the way until the finish. Not bad for a beer you’re expecting to taste like kool-aid. zebracakes (1214), Washington DC, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Sep 26, 2009 Oh. my. god. It pours cherry cough syrup red. It’s RED!!!! WIth a pink pink head. GROSS!!!! It looks like jungle juice. WARNING!!! Aroma is malty and vegetable hoppy. The color is throwing me off a bit and I swear I can smell red food coloring. Flavor is malty, hoppy, chemical bitter with a slight hint of vegetable (or cherry). IT’S RED!!! BEER IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE RED! As I keep sipping it, I’m hallucinating cherry cough syrup flavor. I just can’t do this red thing. Ew. hophead75 (1954), Boonton, New Jersey, USA

Aroma is grainy, lightly metallic with some earth and grass. taste is malty, with some metal, overall light bodied. Unimpressive. caresville (106), Vernon, New Jersey, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 22, 2009 guhhh, pink beer with a pink head. I already know this is not going to end well. The smell is i don’t even know, pink? i still cant believe its pink. The taste actually isn’t half bad and its quite refreshing as i can detect hops, some malt, maybe raspberries or blackberries, and some other fruits i cant put my finger on. finish tastes pretty boozey to me, definetly dont want to try it again to figure out what i really make of all this. a totally odd brew for sure. | 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 8/20 | Sep 17, 2009 Light, tangy aroma. I passed this brew by a couple of times, since the label looks like the cap and I thought that I’d had it. I was totally unprepared for the froot punch rose color with the pink head. Bitter, lemon pith flavor. Dry. Unpleasantly bitter finish on a medium body which really kills off the enjoyment of the beer. Wouldn’t take anotehr one for free. Market Square Liquors. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 17, 2009 Pours a clear koolaid red with frothy pinkish head, light lacing. Faint nose of some toasted malts, grain and light hops. A cool gimmicky beer, not much else. robforbes (1090), Bremerton, Washington, USA

overall a very strange beer, not that bad just cant get past the color, also has a weird taste that i cant put my finger on. MrBunn (1527), Western, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 6, 2009 Bomber. I’m a little sick of odd colored beer, and this is no exception. Imagine my surprise (unsuspecting victim that I am) when the pour was a candy apple red with a massive pick fizzy/foamy head. (I’m having flashbacks to Romulan Ale and Magic Hat Wacko, which are two of my most hated experiences in the last year.) Still, I’ll give this one a shot. Aromas are fairly weak... a bit of dough, light brown sugar and some apple or fruit of some sort... it’s hard, though, when your eyes are assaulted at every turn. Flavor is pretty non-eventful. A bit of an oktoberfest boozy graininess to it, some caramel and a funkiness that might be the dye or whatever. A tingly alcohol presence throughout.
