s_creigh (201), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Jan 10, 2008 Hazy amber color. Decent head. Typical for the style hop aroma. Nice flavor. Sort of a tartness to it with some great lager hop twang. This is much better than I would have guessed from looking at the label. Glad the wife picked it up. Enjoyable.
rman18 (174), South Amboy, New Jersey, USA Oct 5, 2008 I was happy with this beer. You could definetly taste the hops and a little of the malt. It had a small head with a little lacing. The aroma was also nice. I would have it again. marcus (1051), Sacramento, California, USA Sep 24, 2008 This amber ale poured with a fluffy beige head. It smells kind of like Coney Island. There is a thin malt flavor with a harsh bitter finish. This is not up to Hebrew’s standards. mhelgason (443), Charlotte, North Carolina, USA Sep 20, 2008 small white cream (mostly dissapating) head into amber body with good lacing. Aromas of mild malts and hops. flavors of light to moderate bittersweet and finishes light bitter. Some acidic apple in the finish, which is moderately long. I was not a fan. fidel (203), Livermore, California, USA Sep 20, 2008 Dark amber, malty, caramel, little citrus, little dark fruits, little hops, slight nutty. The_Beer_God (2855), Newport News, Virginia, USA Sep 17, 2008 Bottle. Amber colored pour. Tall foamy off-white head. Nose is caramel, soft citrus, light earthy and floral hops, some spicy notes and toasted malt. Taste is caramel, sweet malts, fruit flavors (mostly citrus but a hint of pear in there), spicy and earthy hops, light floral notes and some nuttiness. The body on this is a bit chewy for a vienna with a moderate carbonation and a medium overall feel. Ends with more caramel, sweet malts, fruit notes, peanuts, spicy and floral hops and bready notes.
