I liked this lager, one of the few I remember at beerfest. Probably from the great label

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A 22oz bottle. I got to say this has a lot more hops taste than expected. The body is dark gold with a white head. Taste and smell are floral and bitter. Nice hot summer day beer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Frank. Pours Amber with a soapy film of a head. Nose is wheat grain backing with a tart cherry top. Taste falls off for me. grains, wheat but no appearance from the tart that i got on the nose. Not a huge fan- it lacks complexity that i like, which tends to go missing in Lagers. Still, i can recognize that it was well done, is drinkable and refreshing which is all i need on this crazy hot day!

Pours a dark amber color that is a little hazy with an off white head. The aroma is a floral orange sent. The taste is a hopy citrus with a slight malt sweetness. The body is medium and the finish is a bitter aftertaste that grows as you drink.Overall a good beer.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from a 22 oz bottle at GOBF ’08...dark amber w/ a slight, fizzy off white head. Nose of citrus, floral hops, mixed with a cellar type funk. Great mix of flavors in this lager! A nice hop backbone blended well with some sweet malts, and caramel flavors. The palate was medium bodied, with the lager style carboantion (i.e. fizzy). Easily one of my favorite lagers!

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
It pours a light amber color with a tiny ring of head and a small amount of carbonation and lacing.
This has a huge amount of toasted malt, light carmel, little grains.
The flavor is sweet malt, grains, some bready notes and a good does of hops.
It finishes with a a dryness and a little sweetness from a carmel. Not really your traditional lager.. Not a bad beer but not worth the price tag.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Brown and clear with an off tan, frothy head. Good lacing for the duration. Malty sweet aroma. This beer was better than I thought it would be. Clean and sweet and asking for salty foods. More hop prescense than I expected. It added a crispness that was very nice.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Nice light toffee/caramel coloring with a solid white head. Smells sweet, almost like caramel candy. Some bitter maltiness in the flavor with some background toffee and caramel notes. Some strange bitterness, too, in the finish that smacks of hops, but almost seems like an oxidized flavor, too. It was present in all 3 of the ones I tried, so I don’t believe it was an "off" bottle. Interesting beer. I would try this one again, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Half inch, off-white head. Clear body. Moderate malt, light bread, light hoppiness, light yeast aroma. Intial flavor was moderately sweet and a little bitter. Texture was initially watery, but then dry on the tongue later. Interting beer. Could be a real good session beer.
