Brown and clear with an off tan, frothy head. Good lacing for the duration. Malty sweet aroma. This beer was better than I thought it would be. Clean and sweet and asking for salty foods. More hop prescense than I expected. It added a crispness that was very nice.

Nice light toffee/caramel coloring with a solid white head. Smells sweet, almost like caramel candy. Some bitter maltiness in the flavor with some background toffee and caramel notes. Some strange bitterness, too, in the finish that smacks of hops, but almost seems like an oxidized flavor, too. It was present in all 3 of the ones I tried, so I dont believe it was an "off" bottle. Interesting beer. I would try this one again, but I wouldnt go out of my way for it.

Half inch, off-white head. Clear body. Moderate malt, light bread, light hoppiness, light yeast aroma. Intial flavor was moderately sweet and a little bitter. Texture was initially watery, but then dry on the tongue later. Interting beer. Could be a real good session beer.

Tasty lager here. Bubbly and with caramel notes. Ambet looking, light bodied. Short, weak palate, and thats why is just a good try but nothing compare to the Brooklyn Lager.

This is a pretty good beer with a slight bitter aftertaste that i fell in love with. This beer may give your tastebuds a reverse Onhard.

Tasting - Gulf Brew 2010 - normally Id have better notes, but the only thing my notes say on this beer is that Id buy it. I must have enjoyed the look of this pour. I never give anything a 5.

pours out a dark clear honey with a tall off white head that was nicely lumpy. the body is a clear light amber with very few bubbles in the mix. the aromas are a slight malt backbone with nice overtones of a subtle yeast with a light hop presence making an apearance also. it is a sweet yet bitter malty medium bodied flavor that is a little unbalanced. has a nice hoppy taste in the back of the palate when it finishes, but malty with notes of hay, biscuits, butter and sweet nuts. interesting mix of malt and very nice.the aftertaste is light and pleseant that is a little buttery on the tongue. nice beer.

Astringent. Buttery. Metallic. And thats just the nose. The appearance was the only thing this beer had going for it. 2 sips and I was done. Buttery, metallic, weird esters and just plain undrinkable. Bad bottle or batch, I assume. A real shame, as these guys typically make some good beer.

Eh, not so bad. Pours a red/brown color, aroma is of thick malts, as is flavor, with a floral finish as it sits on your tongue. Thats it. Nothing really special.

Pours hazy amber, nice apperance. Aroma is pretty hoppy and has some caramel in there as well. Definately hoppy with a fairly good balance of sweet malts. The finish is kind of gritty and not to my liking. Not a bad lager though.
